It’s been a big year for the Cherry Gardens Ironbank Recreation Ground. We kicked off our fundraising campaign, ‘Dreams to Reality’ in order to pay for much needed upgrades to the club rooms and have made some positive inroads.

Read MoreWe are approaching season 2019 netball finals, with only two rounds left to go and then finals on 24/8, 31/8 and grand final on 7th Sept. Summer season commences in October and players are busy forming teams to enter into this social competition.
Read MoreFootball season arrived early and has flown by and before we know it we will be in to the finals and hopefully our seniors teams will all be strong contenders. Coming up on August 17th is our club Quiz Night and we would welcome any locals who would like to join us.

Read MoreAll teams have played five games or more so far this season. Results have been mixed, with half of our senior teams in the top 4 of their respective ladder. B1 gold team is top of their grade and C1 gold is second.

Read MoreWe have a number of functions coming up throughout the season and on June 14th (a Friday) we have teamed up with our neighbours, the Blackwood Golf Course, for a club function that is open to all our players, sponsors and supporters. If any locals would also like to join in then you will be very welcome.
