A 5km walk along the Esplanade from Port Noarlunga South to Moana followed by a family fun event to raise awareness for mental health and wellbeing. Food and refreshments will be available during the event, together with a host of activities and stalls with information from organisations in the mental health and suicide prevention sector.

Formerly known as the Onkaparinga Seaside Walk for Suicide Prevention, this event has been run every year since 2017 except 2020 when COVID prevented it, raising over $22,000 for suicide prevention and mental health initiatives, including:
Funding a grant for a study by Dr. Angela Nicholas into suicide prevention.
Sponsorship of Mental Health First Aid training seminars.
Funding GROW Australia for in school mental health programs.
Sponsoring the Connect Onkaparinga Mental Health Service Directory.
Join us at Port Noarlunga South for the commencement of the walk at 9.30am.
Walk as an individual, with your family, work colleagues or sporting group. The walk concludes at Moana, where registered walkers will receive a free sausage sizzle and water.
A range of stall holders specialising in the field of mental health will be available to share information, with food and drinks available, plus entertainment, raffle and family friendly activities.
A free shuttle bus is available from Moana (opposite the Surf Life Saving Club) for those who wish to park near the finish line. Last bus departs Moana at 9.20am.
