The Community Survey 2021 included specific climate change-related questions and the findings were used to inform the areas of action in the draft plan.
Our community has consistently highlighted climate change as an important issue, with 81 per cent of respondents to our Community Survey 2021 agreeing that ‘not addressing climate change would be a risk to our city’
Responding to climate change impacts is key to maintaining livability in our city, managing risks, and reducing future costs.
This is an important plan for our whole community, and I know it is short notice, but it is important our community is aware that one is to be held in the northern area. Could you share this amongst your network as I am sure many people would be interested in this subject and may like to attend.
