An information session to progress Disaster Risk Reduction initiatives in Onkaparinga in partnership with the Australian Red Cross. Organised by Community Connections.

About this event

The City of Onkaparinga have successfully applied for a Disaster Risk Reduction grant through SA Fire & Emergency Services Commission (SAFECOM). The aim is to progress emergency resilience and recovery work to better support our communities to be prepared, to respond and to recover. The Australian Red Cross are one of our vital partners for this project.

Who is this for:

Groups/Organisations/Business or individuals linked to the communities of Coromandel Valley/East – Cherry Gardens – Clarendon OR adjacent to Sturt Gorge you may be an interested stakeholder in this work within your community.

Perhaps you are already involved in resilience initiatives, are looking to be involved or are simply concerned about the impact of a disaster should it happen where you live, work or play?
