Light Up The Dawn on ANZAC Day

As a result of restrictions to this year’s formal ANZAC Day commemorations the RSL encourages people to Light Up the Dawn and remember and pay respects from home.

This can take several forms including

  • from your home,

  • the end of your driveway or

  • a balcony.

Spread the word and take it to your neighbourhood www.rslanzacspirit.com.au, #LightUpTheDawn

Introduction

Use your own words of reflection, name people you remember today, give gratitude for those who served and sacrificed, and to those still serving our nation.

Recite the Ode:

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.
