And just like that the 20/21 cricket season is upon us and its sure to be a memorable one as it celebrates our 30th season since the Ironbank and Scott Creek clubs merged to create the great club we have now.
Two senior teams have started their season, both an A Grade & C Grade and we have plenty of depth with over 30 players keen week in week out. Hopefully, we can keep them all keen and with a few returning players and some juniors promising, we can eventually build up to having 3 senior teams next year. That’s a bit of a dream but it’s something worth striving for.
We again have entered 3 junior teams (U12, 14 & 16) and although numbers are a little thin in some, we know everyone will have a fun time. If any potential juniors are out there, we are always open to new players and we have as players as young as 8 playing. Training is Thursday @ 4:15 so come out for a go or contact Scott on 0417 874 763.
