Recreation Ground

We continue to be grateful that SA is relatively free and back to the COVID normal which allows us to stay open and engage with the community through the many sports clubs and locals that use the Recreation Ground regularly.

We are still allowed up to 90 people in the clubrooms and up to 1,000 spectators to watch games (which is a lot more than we would ever expect).

There are meals on Thursday nights after training and everyone is welcome. It’s great to see locals dropping in for a meal and staying connected.

We are moving ever forward on the changeroom project and expect to select a builder in early September.

We have also recently been advised that we have been successful in getting funding for a Solar Battery system that once connected to the Solar system that was installed last year should help us to be relatively self-sufficient in regards to our electricity needs throughout the year.
